Generations’ key managers are its Director of Sales and Marketing, Karen Hess, its Director of Nursing/Case Manager, Maryanne Corsi, R.N., and General Manager, John Hess. Karen also serves as the corporations’ chief executive officer and John as chief operating officer.
Holds a bachelors of science degree in nursing from Hunter College Bellevue School of Nursing, and is licensed in both New Jersey and New York. For almost 30 years she has worked in a variety of healthcare settings including private duty and home healthcare, surgical intensive care and long-term care administration. She is a member of the National Gerontological Nursing Association, the Home Healthcare Nurses Association and the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society.
Holds a bachelors degree in psychology and was a successful account executive for a scientific equipment distributor for over 20 years. She left the workplace to raise a daughter, and has devoted a significant amount of time and energy to charitable causes, notably in education and a large pediatric rehabilitation hospital.
Holds a juris doctorate degree. For over 35 years he served in various functions at major corporations, including research, finance, legal and human resources. Most recently, he served as a member of executive management and was a Board-elected officer of a Fortune 500 New Jersey-based company, overseeing global human resources and related functions. For 8 years, he served as a Trustee for a local hospital, health system and rehabilitation institute, including as a member of the Executive Committee and chairing the Human Resources Committee.
