Meet Sweetie, our miniature horse! She stands 33 inches tall and as you can see, is sorrel with a flaxen mane and tail. She loves to visit with our clients and show them her tricks, like bowing, standing on her hind legs, shaking hands and giving kisses.
Lauren, our Director of Nursing, has owned Sweetie for 20 years and would be happy to tell you all about her background as a champion show horse and as a participant in a therapeutic horse program for handicapped children and adults. Client visits are an integral part of the service we provide – Sweetie is available upon request!
